Families with a child who has a medically complex diagnosis and resides in Northern Nevada or surrounding rural Northeastern California. All families must have a referral form filled out by a health care provider, such as a social worker, doctor, or case manager to verify eligibility.
Tiny Toes defines medically complex as “A significant congenital or acquired health problem that severely affects one or more organ systems, with or without functional limitations, resulting in significant health care needs and utilization, and potentially requiring medical or adaptive technology assistance. Individual differences in complexity may exist.”
No, Tiny Toes will never ask about your previous or current income to determine eligibility.
Tiny Toes Foundation helps families of medically complex children of all shapes and sizes. Please call or email us to determine your eligibility, and find out how Tiny Toes can best help your family.
Our very first referral came from word of mouth! While we still need an official referral from a Health Care Provider , such as a social worker, doctor, or case manager, YOU can get the process started by providing us with contact information of the family in need.
Tiny Toes Foundation does not provide cash to families. We will pay bills directly, assist with direct travel expenses, or other needs the family may need help with, which is determined on a case by case basis.
Please consider joining the Tiny Toes Foundation team today with a donation on our website. A monthly donation of as little as 10 dollars can help change the world of a family with a medically complex child. Tiny Toes Foundation also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Please email admin@tinytoesfoundation.org to get on our volunteer list for our next event.
